Elviria is a suburb of the greater Marbella area. Elviria sits along the Costa del Sol between Cabopino and El Rosario. Elviria is considered to be quite upmarket, is has the five star Don Carlos hotel and world famous Nikki Beach club in the area. There are plenty of local shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the commercial areas. The supermarkets include Supersol, Mercadona and Lidl. Recommended bars include Fluid , Kudu Bar and El Pino cafe bar . Recommended restaurants include Rosmarino , a fabulous Italian restaurant in the commercial area. One of the most beautiful aspects of Elviria is the pine trees, beaches and mountain ranges.

Drive 7kms up into the mountains you come to the La Mairena area which is home to luxury villas, luxury apartment complexes, the Hoffman tennis academy, Kudu Bar and some of the most spectacular views of the mountains, countryside and the sea. La Mairena is a heavily forested area with pine, oak and cork trees in abundance.

Elviria has three golf courses, the nine hole El Soto de Marbella course in La Mairena, the 18 hole Santa Maria golf course and the 9 hole Greenlife golf.

Property in Elviria is desirable and perhaps a little more expensive when compared to other areas of the Costa del Sol.
