 Buddha Beach Marbella - boutique beach club Buddha Beach, Marbella’s first boutique beach club, is looking forward to a sizzling second season Located only a short walk from the jet set marina of Puerto Banus, Buddha Beach was the most talked about newcomer last year, and celebrities, residents and visitors flocked to Buddha Beach’s relaxed, bespoke location. VIP guests last year included Sky Sports Presenters Jeff Stelling and Clare Tomlinson, former Miss World Rosanna Davidson and well-known figures from the football world including international players Shay Given, Stephen Carr and Ian Harte and England rugby internationals Lewis Moody and Leon Lloyd. Buddha Beach also featured prominently in the Sky Sports television programme, La Liga Extra Time and was the venue for several video and fashion shoots. England and Spurs footballer David Bentley has also invested in Buddha Beach and become one of the partners and he was one of the many celebrities present at the Grand Opening Gala, due to be held on June 12. Taking its inspiration from Thailand and the exotic Far East, the main beach club area at Buddha Beach is set back from the shore with raised wooden decked sunbathing and seating areas with views out to the Mediterranean, as well as around the pool. Buddha Beach also features a discreet VIP area with its own large rock pool Jacuzzi, while the beach area itself has 100 beds, all with waiter service. Drinking and dining are one of the main pleasures at Buddha beach. As well as the beachside bar, Buddha Beach’s main bar area is the perfect place to take a break from the strenuous task of sunbathing for a cool drink, or to enjoy a relaxing sundowner as the sun sets. A live DJ will add to the ambience, playing smooth tunes throughout the day. Buddha Beach’s restaurant has been expanded during the winter and will be open for evening dinning, offering an appetizing selection of dishes, from fresh seafood platters, Thai fusion cuisine and sushi to a light bite and all tastes in between. For early birds, Buddha Beach will also be open for breakfast from 10am Another new addition this season is the Champagne and Seafood Bar, which will offer the freshest fish and a range of quality champagnes, the perfect combination when enjoying a day at the beach! There’s a lot going on at Buddha Beach this season. This year Buddha Beach will be staging regular events including the popular Sunday Sunset Sessions, Limelight on Thursday as well as live music, including a special intimate dinner performance by international soul legend Alexander O’Neill on July 24, which is sure to be one of the highlights of the summer!
